Car News: Aston Martin reveals their forthcoming Hypercar AM-RB 001
Still under minor developments, to be tested only around late 2017 and to be launched in 2019 but swarms every headlines in 2016 itself!!! In Simple Words, that’s the fascination AM-RB 001 from the luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin triggers. With Aston Martin and Red Bull technologies collaborating, a lot is certainly expected from the duo and their model. AM-RB 001 is the codename of this hypercar, till an official name is disclosed. In fact, this is second codename of the model from its makers with the first one being Nebula.
So a Hypercar?? What is it? Sports one or race type or road model? Declares Andy Palmer, CEO of Aston Martin “it’s a very, very quick road car.” The two-seater model of 39.5 inches tall but is spacious enough to fit in tall persons corroborated when Aston Martin’s chief designer Marek Reichman, a 6 feet 4 inch person sat inside comfortably along with the CEO. Says Formula 1 designer and engineer, Red Bull Racing’s Adrian Newey the blueprint was to “keep it pure and simple, tighter package.” AM-RB 001’s futuristic technology and design would dare the best from its competitors; McLaren, Ferrari, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porche to name a few.
AM-RB 001 is made out of carbon fiber powered by V12 engine potent enough to give an ideal 1:1 power-to-weight ratio. Emphasis is placed on making the car lighter, streamlined and easier to traverse instead of being a powerful one. As per reports, the manufacturing of AM-RB 001 is confined to 99 units with a few more on track-oriented versions. This model with advanced technology will cost the buyer around $2.7 million to $4 million depending upon the options chosen that includes a preparation course to teach drivers who are unfamiliar with these model of cars.
