After Superman and Batman, it’s Wonder Woman’s turn to save the earth from untold mysteries. Played by Gal Gadot, Wonder Woman focus on the story of Diana, an Amazonian Princess brought up and trained a fearless warrior. On knowing the untold civilian suffering due to the world war, she leaves her home to fight and restore faith in humanity.
Wonder Woman is directed by Patty Jenkins making her the first woman director to direct a female superhero movie. Aside from Gal Gadot playing the titular role, the movie has Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen and Robin Wright in key roles. Distributed worldwide by Warner Bros, Wonder Woman is slated for worldwide release on June 2, 2017.
It’s great news for DC Fans with DC Comics rebooting its fictional cinematic universe at a rapid pace. With Batman V Superman and Suicide Squad in 2016, DC’s films in upcoming years have Justice League (2017), The Flash & Aquaman (2018), Shazam & Justice League’s sequel (2019) and Cyborg & Green Lantern Corps (2020) aside from The Wonder Woman.
