Afghanistan: Good entry to the ICC event led by skipper Mangal. They have the do or die attitude but they should carry the same in every match to do produce some upsets.

Australia: They are known for their team spirit. Except the likes of Hussey bro’s and Watson, no other has hit the headlines though they have players like Warner and Wade. Hot favorites!! Can they lift atleast this time?

Bangladesh: Good form of certain key players is a good thing to notice but it doesn’t make a team win. If the entire team revolves around these players, then you can hear some stunning results.

England: What’s happening?? They are without the service of their controversial batsmenKevin Pietersen. Strong in bowling but inability to handle the pressure is where they lack. The defending champions have a lot to do.

India: In good touch mainly with their batting but their team selection is awful. Why go for Piyush?? A lucky mascot?? On what basis is Bhajji selected?? There are lot of part-timers in the team then why three spinners?? Questions keep increasing. Stronger team in the paper but form of the individuals is a bit to worry! Let’s see how they go on in the tournament.

Ireland: Good all-rounders make them a surprising package but can they be strong enough to beat the big guns?
New Zealand: All time dark horses. They have performed consistently in all ICC events. Unpredictable! They have some of the best T20 players but its all up to the captain to use their stuffs.

Pakistan: Superb combo overall but their fielding and batting is not clicking as a team. Can they put up a good show in the tournament??

South Africa: They have the services of a consistent Amla, SwashBuckling De-Villiers, Pacy Steyn, Morkel, and a combo which has a lot of bowling options as well. Let’s see whether they are able to shrug off the CHOKER’s tag or carry the same.

Sri Lanka: Their over reliance on Sanga and Mahela continues on and on. Dilshan’s form is a bit of concern but remember he’s a guy who can turn things around quickly. And forgot Slinga?? Malinga is the leading wicket taker in T20’s. They have all-rounders who can hold on their nerves. Can they do to India as we did in our own backyard??

West Indies: West Indies is the only team which has immense variations in both batting and bowling depts. Remember the names of Christopher Gayle?? Pollard?? Bravo bro’s?? and Narine??? This combo makes the Windies a strong contender for the trophy in paper. 90% of their players can bowl and that’s really awesome. But they falter in consistency and team work.

Zimbabwe: A team who can create an upset. Their talent has to be explored and should produce some miracles.

LET THE GAME BEGIN!!!!
