Unusual Tourist Atttractions Krzywy Domek The Crooked House Sopot Poland Night

For a moment, I felt “Are my eyes playing tricks?” before realizing the fact that the building is unusually shaped. Krzywy Domek (“Crooked Little House” in Polish), is an unconventionally shaped building & is one of the popular tourist attractions in Sopot, Poland. Designed by Szotyńscy & Zaleski, the structure was built in the year 2004. The building’s pattern was inspired by fairytale descriptions of Jan Martin Szancer and Per Dahlberg.

Krzywy Domek occupies an area of 43,000 sq. ft (4000 sq. meters) and is a part of Rezydent Shopping Center. The building is located at intersection of Morska Street & Monte Cassino with access from both streets. The facade currently houses a few restaurants, cafes and business centers.
