There are some simple home remedies you can try to get rid of your problem. Try one of these seven natural treatments the next time you have a case of split ends. One or two should do it, but if not, keep trying until they go away for good!
Home Remedy 1
Combine a small amount of castor oil, olive oil, or almond oil with coconut oil. Add 2tbsps of castor oil to 250ml of coconut oil. You may also combine all three oils if you wish. To the usual oil, use equal amounts of these oils (1 teaspoon each).
Make sure you oil your hair-ends properly. The ends of your hair, on the other hand, appear pale than the rest of your hair. This combination not only promotes growth in your hair but also prevents your hair tips from becoming dry.
Use this combination to oil your hair every other day. Wrap your head in a shower cap and leave it overnight or 8-10 hours if you have time. Rinse out with a mild shampoo afterward.
Home Remedy 2
Take 1 cup oil and 1 cup boiling water in a bottle and seal tightly. Shake very thoroughly.
Massage this mixture into your hair from roots to tips, then wrap it in a shower cap for half an hour. Wash carefully with warm water after the time is up. Just be cautious about your hands and head since the water is hot.
Home Remedy 3
Make a hair pack by combining 1 egg yolk, 2 Tbsp olive oil, and 1 tsp honey in a mixing cup. Massage the mixture onto your locks and then secure them with a shower cap for half an hour. Rinse out your hair normally with tap water.
Home Remedy 4
A papaya pack is an excellent method for preventing split ends in your hair. Take two big slices (two small/medium ones) of ripe papaya. Remove the skin and seeds of the ripe papaya and mix them together in a blender.
Add a half cup of yogurt to a cupful of water and mix well. Apply it to your scalp and hair thoroughly after mixing in the papaya. Wash off with warm water after 30 minutes. You may also use a banana that is ripe instead of papaya.
Home Remedy 5
To a coarse powder, grind 1 tbsp of methi (fenugreek) seeds with half a cup of urad dal. Add half a cup of yogurt and mix thoroughly. Apply evenly to the scalp. Apply fully to your hair and scalp. After two to three hours, wash your hair with warm water.
Home Remedy 6
Take four cups of warm water and a tablespoon of honey and mix them together. After washing your hair, apply this mixture to it. Do not rinse afterward.
This combination not only makes your hair smooth and shiny; it also locks in the moisture content, ensuring that your hair does not appear dry or frizzy. This is a homemade leave-in conditioner for your hair.
Home Remedy 7
These days, there are a lot of leave-in conditioners/serums on the market, such as L’Oreal Professional, Garnier, Pantene, and so on. Additionally, lukewarm water should be used to wash your hair. Do not use hot water. Hair loses moisture when subjected to hot water.
