One of the most important things you can do for yourself is be aware of how other people make you feel! It might seem like a strange concept, but our feelings are tied directly to what we think about ourselves and others so being mindful of your emotions can help you change them.
For example, if someone makes a snarky comment to you then it might make you feel insecure or bad about yourself and that’s going to affect how happy and productive you are the rest of the day!
Try being aware of when this happens so that next time around you’re able to deal with the situation better.
Make time for yourself every day

You might hate the idea at first, but in reality, you’ll be able to focus on yourself more when you’re not busy trying to keep up appearances for other people!
Engage in self-care mindfully
What’s the difference between self-care and an unhealthy coping mechanism? It might seem like there’s no way to tell, but you can definitely try your best!
The most important thing is that if something makes you feel good at the moment then it might be a bad idea long term.
For example, if eating ice cream every night after dinner is the only way that you’re able to relax then it might not be great for your physical or mental health.
When engaging in self-care remember to take things slowly and don’t overdo it because otherwise there’s a chance that you’ll make yourself worse!

Finally, one of the best ways to take care of yourself is to structure everything in your day so that it works out perfectly. This might seem like an odd suggestion but think back over the last few weeks – did you ever get up at your usual time but not have enough time to eat breakfast?

It might seem impossible at first but over time you can really get into the routine of arranging your life so that it works out perfectly.
