After all the tournaments ended at London Olympics 2012, the Olympic flag was handed to organizers of the Olympics 2016 games in Rio de Janeiro. This was one of the unforgettable moments of the London Olympics 2012 closing ceremony. This season creates so many records in the career of Olympics. There are few athletes who created a remarkable history in this season.

The Olympics cauldron was extinguished and the Olympics flag has landed on the Brazilian soil. It has passed from London to Rio de Janeiro, the second city of Brazil and third largest metropolitan city.

Rio de Janeiro is the first South American city to host the Olympics. The Olympics 2016 organizers have to work hard to give a better infrastructure. Including Olympic park most of the venues are yet to construct.

During a visit in June, members of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) said that timelines were “already very tight” and that “the amount of work to be completed is considerable”.

Hope Olympics 2016 will create new records and grab some special place in Olympic history book. Let us say good bye to Olympics 2012 and welcome to Olympics 2016.
