First it was Misbah-ul-Haq, after 2 days it was the entire Pakistan team. After handling a 75-run defeat to the hosts England at Lord’s, the entire players led by the veteran Younis Khan, assembled, performed push ups and did a military salute in front of the spectators and fans at the ground. The player’s celebrations were a tribute to the Army Training Camp who worked with the team’s fitness and strength ahead of their tour to England. Couple of days earlier, Misbah-ul-Haq took 10 pushups celebrating his 10th Test century. The 42-year old cricketer became the oldest captain in to score a Test century. The second test will be played at Manchester starting on July 22 (See Fixtures).
