Renault launches KWID 1.0L – First Look | Specifications | Price | Review
Premium Carmaker Renault has launched the contemporary edition of its entry-level Hatchback KWID titled ‘KWID 1.0L’. KWID 1.0L comes in two variants; the basic one RXT priced at 3.83 Lakh and the high end RXT (O) priced 3.96 Lakh. As of now, the new KWID offers manual transmission while an automated manual transmission version would hit the markets during the festive season this year.
The French Carmaker revealed the new 1.0L model diverges from its standard editions in terms of its internal dynamics and peripheral cosmetic changes. The KWID 1.0L comes with 999cc 3-cylinder DOHC petrol engine generating 67 Bhp of power and 91 Nm of torque (See for detailed specification). The minor changes to the exterior include dual-tone Outside View Rear Mirror (OVRM), ‘SCe’ badge featured in the rear along with new body designs.
KWID 1.0L safety system includes remote keyless entry with central locking along with driver side airbag as an optional feature. Down payment starts at INR 10,000 with delivery expected to start early September. The makers indicate fuel efficiency of 23.01 kmpl while the existing versions offer 25.17 kmpl.
Other notable mentions include Renualt’s plan of expanding their outlets to 270 in India along with plans to launch KWID in Nepal coming September.
