Controversy’s favorite child, former England skipper and sports commentator Nasser Hussain has set a Guinness World Record for the Highest Catch. Hussain achieved this feat at the famous Lords Cricket Ground, London in a contest organized by Sky Sports Cricket. The feat comes ahead of the upcoming Pakistan’s tour of England starting July 14th.  Hussain’s effort had three catching attempts with cricket ball dropped by Batcam drone from heights 100ft, 150ft and 400ft respectively.

Albeit the third one, the first two attempts were successful. Witnessing the feat, Adam Brown (Guinness World Record Adjudicator) awarded Nasser Hussain the Guinness World Record of “The Highest Catch of the Cricket Ball” for his successful catching attempt of cricket ball from 150ft. In the process, Nasser hurt his hand which was clearly visible when he shook hands with the organizers on completion.
